Laura Losciale, MIA, MBA, RYT-200
Managing Director and co-founder of the Center for Mindfulness of Miami, Laura earned her qualification to teach MBSR from both the University of California San Diego School of Medicine and from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School after extensive and ongoing professional training. A businesswoman and single mother of three, she teaches mindfulness programs as a means of dealing effectively with the stress she encounters in her own life. Having personally experienced the transformation that mindfulness supports, she is keen on continuing to deepen her practice and on sharing these teachings with others. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Laura is also the Managing Director of Beacon Hill, Lda. a real estate management company in Cascais, Portugal. She holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Boston College, an MBA from Babson College, and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University.
Alessandra Losciale, MS
Alessandra is Marketing Director and co-founder of Center for Mindfulness of Miami and a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion teacher. She received her qualification to teach from the University of California San Diego. Having experienced the healing qualities of silence, presence, and self-compassion in her life, she is passionate about teaching mindfulness to others. As a real estate agent with Grand Realty and mother to three teenagers, she is aware of the power that mindfulness and silence has in regulating emotions, and the positive impact it has on her professionally, as well as in her family. Alessandra is a graduate of Boston University with a B.S. in Communication, of the Sorbonne with a Masters in Film, and of Columbia University with an M.S. in Journalism.
